Winner I-Tower Stock Competition
I would like to congratulate Mason Wartman for winning the second annual I-Tower Stock Competition!  Mason Wartman came out on top of a strong group of contestants, including second place winner Ball Kovitchindachai, who placed ninth in last year’s event, and third place winner Abraham Sharoni, who placed first in last year’s event.

At the end of the last competition, we promised that the 2008 I-Tower Stock Competition would be among the best on-campus events related to finance during the 2007-2008 school year.  After one hundred and seventy four contestants, six thousand trades, a featured interview on the Fox News Morning Show, and an article in the Boston Globe, I can honestly say that this year’s competition has exceeded everyone’s greatest expectations.  We sincerely hope that next year’s event will be able to surpass the high bar set by every one of our participants over the past six weeks.

I would also like to congratulate second place winner Ball Kovitchindachai, third place winner Abraham Sharoni, Nicholas Malia, and Ryan Meadows.  We firmly believe that their performance over the duration of the competition proves that they are among the elite core of investors at Babson.

Stephen D. Cutler Center

As of March 7th, The I-Tower is now an official member of the Stephen D. Cutler Center for Investment and Finance.  Our relationship with the Cutler Center will allow us to work closer with Babson staff, administration, and other Babson Finance Organizations on a variety of projects, including the Annual Stock Competition, I-Tower presentations, and several other events that are currently in the works.  Needless to say, we are extremely excited about this.  Everyone at the I-Tower would like to thank Professor Feinstein, Minerva Butler, and everyone else who worked hard in order to bring this about!
